Batkid Begins

Documentary-in-progress, 2014

One child. One wish. Millions touched. Who would have thought a 5-year-old boy who fought leukemia would transform a city and a nation for a day?

The Batkid Documentary takes you back to the day San Francisco turned into Gotham City, and behind the scenes on why this resonated with 1 billion people.  Our filmmaking crew visited the family farm, and what fun to spark super-hero imagination, to run through the fields with little Batkid.

And Kapow! Our Batkid Begins trailer is officially out, and the press is buzzing on this heartwarming story – the Today Show, Mashable, Salon, CNN. As cinematographer for this epic doc, I’m honored to work with Director Dana Nachman and filmmakers Don Hardy & Liza Meak.
